With constant, digital boiler and heating circuit control for heating systems with one heating circuit without mixer and without low loss header. Prepared for the connection of a room temperature controller (accessory) for room temperature-controlled operation. Adjustable flow temperature for heating operation, demand-dependent heating circuit pumps and burner shutdown.

With weather-compensated, digital boiler and heating circuit control for operation with modulating boiler water temperature. For heating systems with a directly connected heating circuit without mixer and/or in conjunction with an extension set for 1 or 2 heating circuit(s) with mixer (included in package or as an accessory). An extension (accessories) is required for the heating circuit (without mixer) with low loss header and heating circuit pump. With 2 pump outlets for 1 circulation pump for cylinder heating, 1 secondary heating circuit pump or 1 drinking water circulation pump (depending on the hydraulic scheme).

Periods for the heating circuits, drinking water heating and drinking water circulation can be set separately. Adjustable cycle operation for drinking water circulation. With storage temperature control. Increased drinking water hygiene possible by heating to an increased drinking water temperature setpoint. With automatic summer/winter time changeover, integrated diagnosis system, maintenance notification and controlled screed drying with effect on all heating circuits. Settings for operating modes, longer warm-up operation, holiday program, holiday-at-home program, chimney sweep test, demand-dependent heating circuit pumps and burner shutdown, as well as summer economy mode and variable heating limit. Capable of communication via CAN-BUS, PlusBus, WLAN and low-power radio. Communication module integrated in the device. Remote control and monitoring of the device via smartphone with the ViCare app possible in connection with an integrated internet interface and on-site internet access via WLAN. Connection of an external operating program with an effect on all heating circuits or external blocking via an extension as an accessory via PlusBus possible. External specification of temperature set value (variable) via 0 to 10 V interface (accessories) and locking of external exhaust air devices possible. The WAGO Gateway (accessory) can be connected via the Viessmann CAN data interface. Data can be exchanged between the device and an external control system via the WAGO Gateway via one of the following data interfaces: KNX/TP, Modbus RTU or Modbus TCP. For weather-compensated operation Connection of wired Vitotrol 200-E remote control or Vitotrol 300-E remote control and connection of extensions with PlusBus communication possible. Device contains system switch, electronic maximum temperature limiter, temperature monitor and temperature limiter, operating and fault display.

Solar DHW heating is possible in conjunction with the EM-S1 extension (accessories) for wall mounting. A collector temperature sensor and a storage tank temperature sensor are included in the scope of delivery of the EM-S1 extension.

Or in connection with the SM1A extension accessory, integrated in the Solar-Divicon or in the Viessmann DHW cylinder, solar DHW heating, solar central heating backup with a 2nd differential temperature controller, solar pre-heating of DHW or the thermostat function is possible.

Steel DHW cylinder underneath with internal heating coil.

Built according to EN 12897 and DIN 4753. Fulfills the requirements of the DVGW worksheet W 551. For heating systems according to EN 12828.

For permissible heating water flow temperatures up to 110 °C. For drinking water temperatures up to 95 °C.
